Hi Chuck, yes, you would, and I’m not entirely sure why they called it ‘damping’ – unless that refers to the fact you can undo the level slightly and move individual parts of the arm.

But I’m curious, what about it is “damping”? From the name, one might expect it to function like an air cushion light stand.

Thanks for reading the review Mofage Team. I actually didn’t mind using the end of an Allen key to tighten the screw and only wished I’d thought of it sooner. If you do make the screw wheel larger still leave the holes in it too, so we can use a tool to make the connection tighter if we need to.
Still the best ‘magic arm’ I’ve used though
